SirsiDynix Symphony Reports Bootcamp 2 Tues, May 1 Wed, May 2 This two-day hands-on intensive will cover the many uses of SirsiDynix Symphony Reports. Participants will learn to:
Produce lists, statistical counts, and patron notices
Print and email notice reports using delivered report session options
Control report output using delivered print options, including xml and pipe-delimited output for export to MS Excel
Load bibliographic and user records in batch, as well as export bibliographic records
Modify and remove records using delivered WorkFlows reports
Utilize data input techniques in reports and wizards for searching specific user, bibliographic or other records
Use report-type functionality found within certain wizards (e.g., Acquistions wizards)
Enterprise Training and Practice 2 Tues, May 1 Wed, May 2 This two day course will include both end user and administration topics for Enterprise as well as lab time with the instructor. Topics to include:
Basic features of Enterprise searching
Multiple search options and facets in Enterprise
Detailed display features
Security and authentication
Displays and themes
Search limits
Search configuration
Federated configuration
Create new rooms and add existing rooms
Hide and display rooms
Manage the availability of rooms by profile
Understand and edit room properties including choosing layouts
Select search targets and search limits for a room
Edit and create content for a room
