What makes a good Candidate

What makes a good candidate to fill a COSUGI Board position?

Someone who doesn’t have a ton of experience with SirsiDynix or other ILS products.  Hasn’t been in COSUGI (or any users group) all that long.  Is excited about the chance to work with others to make COSUGI even more relevant to its members while at the same time learning a whole lot about SirsiDynix products and how SirsiDynix works with its clientele.

OR

Someone who is an “old pro” who has used SirsiDynix products for years.  They’ve been around COSUGI so long they remember CODI or UUGI.  They’re excited about the chance to work with others to make COSUGI even more relevant to its members while at the same time learning a whole lot about SirsiDynix products and how SirsiDynix works with its clientele.

OR

Somewhere in-between and is excited about the chance to work with others to make COSUGI even more relevant to its members while at the same time learning a whole lot about SirsiDynix products and how SirsiDynix works with its clientele.

You get the picture.  COSUGI needs folks from the membership to step up and fill vacant positions.  This year they are:

Chair-Elect
Conference Chair Elect
Membership & Communications Chair
Secretary
SIG/RUG Liaison

Remember – self-nominations are welcome!

Need to learn a little more about which each position entails?  Go to the COSUGI website and email the person in that position.

Or buttonhole them at this year’s conference in Atlanta.

Nominations are open until April 27, 2018.

COSUGI needs you!  Nominate a colleague (or nominate yourself!)
